When the CEO of Exit Five signed off his podcast with a lighthearted comment about wanting a brand mascot, the NBD team took it as a challenge. The joke sparked an idea that quickly evolved into a full-scale rebranding project.
The existing Exit Five brand stood on solid ground, but was missing the distinctiveness that would set it apart from its competitors. The NBD team embarked on a creative journey that would capture the spirit of the brand while enhancing its appeal through an updated web experience – migrating from HubSpot to Webflow to build agility and a fresh, vibrant look.

Inspired by the origins of the brand name, rooted in the familiarity of a highway exit taken often by its founder, the team crafted a visual story that was both nostalgic and innovative.
Roadway elements intertwined with marketing motifs, creating a visual map of Exit Five’s journey and vision. Animations brought motion to what had previously been a static digital landscape, transforming the website into a dynamic experience.
Every click and scroll engaged users, and the new mascot served as a guide, embodying the personality of the brand. This reimagined identity didn’t just set Exit Five apart – it set the entire brand in motion.
